Minted Holiday Cards!

I know we usually talk sleep on the blog, but since so many of you are busy moms like myself, I wanted to share a bit about a great experience I had making my holiday cards this year. I was so excited to make some new holiday cards this year after I saw the amazing photographs that our photographer took of our family. It had been a while since we took family photos and I was blown away by what I saw. I have become keenly aware of not being in a lot of photos because I am usually the one taking them, so it’s really important to me to capture the four of us every once in a while.
I really look forward to making holiday cards each year, and I try to find templates that are unique to our family and not likely to be the normal ones that are sent out by others from year to year. This year, I turned to Minted to help me with this task.

I received a few samples of Minted cards and envelopes recently and was so impressed by the quality. I was also attracted to their various designers and how each independent designer and artist gets paid from the purchase of the card that you buy. I love the idea of supporting a small business since that is what I am!

It didn’t take me long to find our card… one that is designed based on a comic book cover! So much fun!

Some of the other designs I thought about using were this– great for some mischief makers

The best thing about using Minted? Aside from the ease in uploading photographs, I was also able to add personalized envelope addresses for Free! I am in a pretty large time crunch in getting my cards out late this year and this was such a welcome service. I can easily track my order and I see that it’s due to arrive today. I’m really excited to share these cards with my friends and family.

If you are procrastinating a little bit this year, try Minted.  Check out their line of holiday cards.  Send out a holiday card or maybe a New Year card if you feel to pressed for time right now. Some other adorable ones are their baby birth announcement holiday cards. What a beautiful way to show off your newest little one and send holiday greetings at the same time! I’ve used other holiday card websites in the past and I have to say that I think Minted was the best site I have used to make a card in the last few years and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!
