Five Signs Parents are Sleep Deprived

Being sleep deprived can take its toll and make things really hard for families. Did you know new parents can lose up to 44 days of sleep in the first year? Here are five ways you know you are sleep deprived and when it might be time to get some help:

  1. You stare at the crib and think, “I wonder if I could fit in there.”

2.It’s hard to remember the last time you had more than two hours of sleep at a time.

3. You ask your husband to take the baby. The only problem is he is already holding the baby.

4. As soon as you get your baby to fall asleep, you lay awake waiting for the next wake up.
